CMY, is a construction firm based in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mex. Their main service is the concrete placement, also masonry services.
The objetive for CMY was to come up with a concept that could stand up from all the existing construction companies, with a friendly personality but also a professional look.
We knew that the course to develop this brand had to project a solid and strong company.
We found an interesting challenge when we saw such a short name to work with. Finally the inspiration was taken form the preventive lines that are painted on the pavements to keep users safe. The typography arrangements were based on this idea.
As a customer requirement, he asked for the use of blue and to highlight the “Y” in some way, which turn out as the monogram of this brand. We incorporate the use of orange to bring more contrast and life to the design.
